Description:

One of the country's strangest and most fascinating museums, the Mutter is devoted to the anomalies of human medicine and anatomy. Such anomalies include pathological and anatomical specimens preserved in jars of fluid (including conjoined human twins), medical instruments from throughout history, odd memorabilia from famous scientists and doctors, and much more. An offshoot of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, the Mutter resides west of the downtown area, near Rittenhouse Square.

Open Sat. - Thurs. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Fri. 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Admission Details:

Adults $12; Seniors (65+), Children (6-17) and Students $8; Children under 6 are free.
